Position Background

Southern California Carbide is currently looking for a motivated Manual Machinist. Under the supervision of the Production manager, the candidate will operate the machine, assure the quality of the product and trouble shoot problems.

Day-to-Day operation:

• Operate diverse machines such as CNC grinding, CNC Lathe, CNC milling ;
• Complete the process of manually machining different precision carbide parts ;
• Polish the parts ;
• Make the set-up
• Follow instruction on blue print ;

Required Skills:

• 1 year of experience
• Hard Worker
• Punctual
• Respectful of your team member
• Autonomous
• Ability to read blue print is an asset
• Knowledge of carbide is an asset
